One Step at a Time Carers Walks - Edendale Farm

One Step at a Time Carers walk - Eltham - Family Relationship Support for Carers and Mental Health and Wellbeing connect -North East Metro invite unpaid Carers to join this beautiful scenic walk and visit Edendale farm and cafe.

The Diamond Creek Trail is a popular shared-use trail that has a relatively flat and wide path that meanders along the creek and the farm.

Morning tea will be held at Edendale Farm, a vibrant community environment centre which delivers a wide range of environmental and sustainability based programs.

Connect with other carers in a relaxed, non-judgmental space and enjoy the added benefits of being immersed in nature such as lower stress, improved mental health, and an overall feeling of wellbeing.

Free for unpaid carers 

Strictly Carers only, this is your time.

Participants are expected to be able to walk independently for up to 55 minutes on various, challenging terrain.

Sorry no dogs allowed and no transport provided.

We advise participants to wear comfortable walking shoes and suitable attire for all weather conditions, walks will take place in all weather except thunderstorms.
