Here's a blurb about this unmissable show:

 Lyn Bowtell - Qirkz

Stunning, heartfelt vocals, beautifully-crafted songs and world-class performances, there are few female voices in Australia to rival the class and style of Lyn Bowtell.

Lyn first came to prominence as songwriter and singer for multi-award- winning country pop trio Bella. Since then she has released critically acclaimed albums ‘Secret Songs’ in 2012, ‘Heart Of Sorrow’ in 2014 and EP ‘Calling You’ in 2017, all brimming with the soulful vocals that turned heads and four red chairs on national television in Channel Nine’s Season 6 of ‘The Voice’ Australia.

Lyn's latest ARIA #1 Album ‘Wiser’ was released in May 2022, and won her a Golden Guitar Award for 'Contemporary Country Album of the Year' at the CMAA Golden Guitar Awards held at Tamworth Country Music Festival in January.

Join Lyn at Qirkz in the Hunter on Friday 24th November, where she will be performing with Special Guest artist Liam Kennedy-Clark

Lyn Bowtell is a Toyota Star Maker winner, MO Award winner, a ten time Golden Guitar winner, and Artistic Director of the CMAA Academy of Country Music.

Liam Kennedy-Clark

With a passion for music and a distinct lack of sporting finesse, it was only a matter of time before Liam Kennedy-Clark gravitated towards the musician's life of recording studios, stages, long hours in the car, and late night servo dinners. Having left high school and moved to Australia at the age of 17, it wasn’t long before Kennedy-Clark became an established professional musician, sharing stages with the likes of Lee Kernaghan, The Wolfe Brothers, Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole, and The Bushwackers.

In 2015, Liam become the youngest ever CMAA Academy mentor, a role he continues to hold, sharing his knowledge and insights of the music industry with up and coming young Artists.

Amongst all of this, Kennedy-Clark finds time for his solo career as a singer/ songwriter. His passion? Finding new and innovative ways to express himself musically, an inclination clearly demonstrated in Liam's latest album, "Another Habit".

Whether as a singer, songwriter, producer, session musician, musical director or audio engineer, Liam takes any opportunity he can to pursue his musical path, anticipating many more live shows, 5 minute stage calls, broken strings, and hot box chicken wings.
