Guyy was a new face to hit the music scene in 2013 and in a short space of time has developed a reputation as an excellent performer and brilliant songwriter in the alt folk genre. Born in tropical Queensland and raised in Canberra, Guyy began playing guitar from a young age; learning his first chords from his father and a family friend. He continued learning for 8 years before resigning from his full time job and diving head first into a life of music.

Guyy blends a love of Pink Floyd ingenuity with a later found taste for Australian roots, folk and blues. He has crafted his own unique sound and style, and has won or been nominated for several awards including 2 ARIA nominations, Australian National Busking Champion 2014 and 2014 and the ACT Best Blues, Roots & World artist award 2013. He incorporates an arsenal of effects pedals with his acoustic guitars, being able to switch from soothing acoustic melodies to overdriven tones - merging different elements and styles to create a unique and refreshing sound. He has a passion for connecting with people, pushing the envelope and sharing that journey with everyone.

Growing up by the Hawkesbury River, Jack Millar locked himself in his room for most of his teenage years after discovering the guitar and rock/roots music. In between gigs and school, Jack spent hours sinking his teeth into anything from Nirvana to Wes Montgomery, from the White Stripes to Django Rheinhardt as he tried to replicate those sounds on guitar while gaining a love for improvisation and creating his own music. Now at the age of 20 he has evolved as a solo artist with a live show that sways frantically from raw, powerful intensity to moments of intimate, vulnerable fragility and anywhere in between.

Jack's performance style thrives on the unexpected. The show may start with an intimate original acoustic number like "Leave Today" that begins mellow and builds throughout the song before reaching a peak of intensity and resolution. As the set goes on, more up-beat and blues- influenced songs surface like "Body Blood Soul," with its driving rhythm that gains momentum until it rolls into a slow tempo change that seems to induce uncontrollable whistles and hoots upon audience members, only to throw itself back into to the fast driving rhythm as Jack puts all his energy into making that last burst of the song as impactful as possible.
