Kim Richey with special guests Felicity Urquhart & Sarah Humphreys

Two-time grammy nominated Kim Richey is returning to Australian in March and April for a handful of very special shows and festival appearances - and she will be joined by two Australian sweat hearts of song for her Sydney show - Felicity Urquhart and Sarah Humphreys.

Over the past two decades Kim has released six critically acclaimed albums, been listed in the ‘Top 10 Albums of 1999’ in Time Magazine for her album Glimmer, plus received 4-stars in Rolling Stone and named ‘Alt- Country Album Of The Year’ in People Magazine for her album Rise. She has written two #1 singles and had four others hit Top 10. Her songs have been recorded by Trisha Yearwood and James Morrison, she has sung on albums by Ryan Adams, Shawn Colvin and Mary Chapin Carpenter, and even appeared on a William Shatner record produced by Ben Folds.

Most recently, a sublime array of guests feature on Kim’s 2013 release, Thorn In My Heart, including Jason Isbell, Wilco’s Pat Sansone, My Morning Jacket’s Carl Broemel, Will Kimbrough and, returning the harmony-singing favour, Trisha Yearwood.

An Ohio native, Kim now resides in Nashville. Her songs have been featured in film and TV and she continues to travel the world – never being afraid to go where the inspiration is.
