Event Details

The Meet the Mormons documentary screening event provides two opportunities (screened sessions) to be inspired in ways to give back to our communities through this uplifting film which shares the life stories of six diverse Latter-day Saints or Mormons.  Designed as a fundraiser for the wonderful organisation of the Australian Red Cross, which meets many important needs within Australia, the event is open to the interested public.

From 'Candy Bomber' Gail Halvorsen whose acts of kindness boosted hope during the post-WWII Berlin airlift, to LDS humanitarian Bishnu Adhikari working to improve the lives of Himalayan villagers, to extreme sports enthusiast Carolina Muñoz Marin who runs a charity with her husband to aid underprivileged youths, this uplifting feature film highlights love for family, respect for culture, and giving back to the community.

March is 'Red Cross Calling' Month - come along and enjoy this documentary, knowing that all net proceeds go to this worthy cause.
