Cornish comic the Kernow King lands on the golden sands of Sydney for a night of laughter at the Empty Suitcase this May.

After a brief stint in Adelaide where he’s headlining the Cornish Festival Kernewk Lowender, KK as he’s affectionately known by his legions of fans will be making the short journey to Sydney to visit and indeed perform for the first time on the 24th May.

The King told us, “It feels like everyone know I know has visited Australia at some point in their lives- mum, dad, brother, sister, mum, dad, friends…. All come back with tales of stunning weather, great surf and lovely people, and I am thrilled to finally be able to visit.”

For all Cornish expats and comedy fans, this is a must not miss opportunity! KK’s comedy affectionately observes what it’s like to be a Cornishman in a modern world, and this outlook on life has seen him sell out shows in London, all over the South West and South Wales. Highlights of 2014 was Glastonbury which sees him retun in 2015, various other festivals and a debut season at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

KK continued, “it’s a fair old poke over to Sydney, and I can’t wait to experience Australian life. As it’s quite a hike, I can’t wait to take the best bits of my three shows and perform them in Australia- it’s going to be like a one off greatest hits night”.
