Righteous Voodoo is a Soul-infused, extravaganza of sound, who are sure to get even the most conservative toes tapping. Their sound is forged in groove and founded in Roots music – Real music, played by real musicians.

The independent band has enjoyed great success in 2014 releasing their first single, ‘Bygone’, which shot to #1 on the iTunes Blues Charts and remained there for over a week! The single was written and produced by the Sydney based band and mastered by American mastering virtuoso David Kutch known for his work mastering for; Bruno Mars on his break-through album ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’, Estelle on the track ‘American Boy’, Alicia Keys on the album ‘Girl on Fire’ and many more.

Some of the bands’ other musical successes include; performing for Lord Mayor Clover Moore and MP Peter Garrett at Sydney’s official Earth Hour celebrations, sharing a stage with the likes of Stan Walker, Ms Murphy and Paulini, and headlining Sydney Fringe, Thredbo Jazz, Marrickville and Dulwich Hill Festivals. The bands’ singers have been seen frequenting roles as backing vocalists for artists such as; Jess Mauboy, Karise Eden, Emily Williams and many others at events such as Soulfest, National Tours and Sunrise Channel 7 Performances.
