The Everywhere Feels Like Home Project is a multi-sensory presentation of light, sound and image, exploring the connection of a series of songs to the environments in which they were created – from the Australian Bush to the streets of Kansas City, Kansas.

Guided by a series of variations of a short instrumental piece, ‘Everywhere feels like home’, the project encompasses an album’s worth of songs, performed in the order in which they were written and with the visual cues and sights of their environments.

With original Australian music performed by a truly international cast including Geoffrey Gartner, Cellist, Bukhchuluun Ganburged on Horse fiddle & Traditional Mongolian Singing, plus Sydney’s own international festival touring Roots act ‘Stormcellar’, this presentation will include spoken word and dramatic theatrical moments, video montages, projections and lighting and other surprise elements.

From Australian Folk to Kansas Blues, featuring Cello, Double Bass, Harmonica, Electric & Acoustic Guitars, Horse fiddle, traditional Mongolian Singing and live action, the Everywhere Feels Like Home project brings together some of the most amazing talent Sydney has to offer to create a truly uplifting and unforgettable experience.
