ROOTS REGGAE DIRECT FROM JAMAICA: 'RAS DANIEL RAY'

Jamaican Reggae musician, Sound System Specialist in Studo One, Producer, Arranger, song writer, and lead man, Ras Daniel Ray will be making his debut visit to Australia in April.

Known in his homeland of Jamaica for popular singles including Olympic Belly Ska, Move It To The Top and Jamaica Nice, and with a huge following across Europe where he released albums with French band Tu Shung Peng, he is now lead man for the legendary Vin Gordon (Bob Marley's Trombonist and the biggest musician in Studio One) & Real Rock Band.

Ras Daniel Ray has shared the stage with Shabba Ranks, Ninjaman, Supercat, Charly Chaplin, Garnett Silk, Brigadier Jerry, Sister Carol, Dennis Brown, John Holt, Gregory Isaac, Julian Marley, Sizzla and many more, and is a powerhouse performer now seeking worldwide exposure with tours of Canada and Africa also being planned for later in the year before heading back to Jamaica and into the studio to record his next album.

His latest album 'Ray Of Light' has been receiving much AirPlay on Sydney radio stations leading up to his tour here in April, and his planned radio interviews should prove interesting listening for Reggae lovers as his biography reads like a who's who of Reggae Royalty having grown up in Hope Road with Bob Marley and the family.

A Twelve Tribes of Israel Rasta, Ras Daniel Ray's voice is silky, soulful & sweet, delivering an ancestral message as his music and lyrics takes you on a true spiritual journey into his Rastafarian roots & culture.
