NYE 2009: Return of the Melbourne Circus @ EQ Restaurant + Bar
After the sell out success of The Inaugural Melbourne Circus @ EQ Restaurant + Bar NYE 08, EQ Restaurant + Bar, situated at the Arts Centre adjacent to Hamer Hall, is bringing the circus back to town this NYE with a carnival spectacular– and you’re invited to the party!
EQ Restaurant + Bar, in association with NICA (National Institute of Circus Arts), invites you to step through the velvet curtains & into a creatively themed & decorated world of Burlesque. With fire performers lighting up the night, risqué cabaret shows sure to raise an eyebrow & sword swallowing stuntmen all performing just for you.
Including all the style, humour & raunchiness of your local 1920’s House of Burlesque, EQ Restaurant + Bar offers a night of death defying acts & breathe taking performances. And on top of all this, there is nowhere better to view the fireworks!
EQ’s event space will be transformed into a spectacular arena housing the evening’s main acts; 4 originally designed cabaret shows, along with roving performers, bands & DJs playing the tunes until 3am.
For the best views of the city’s New Year’s Eve fireworks, The Inaugural Melbourne Circus at EQ Restaurant + Bar is the place to be.
Guests will feel part of the circus as fire twirlers, contortionists and magicians mingle with adult guests as they enjoy the live bands, DJs and other entertainment.
Tickets for The Return of Inaugural Melbourne Circus @ EQ Restaurant + Bar cost $160 and include; access to all arenas, gourmet canapés & cocktail food a full beverage package (7:00PM – 1:00AM) including a premium selection of spirits, niche sparkling/red/white wines, boutique beers and soft drinks. Guests can upgrade their beverage packages to include specially designed NYE cocktails for just $20!
