Foundry 616 is proud to present an exclusive and very special night for Sydney audiences - ‘Every Woman with Vivian Sessoms’ supported by local trio Jackson Harrison (keys), Ben Waples (bass) and James Waples (drums).

If you haven’t heard her yet, you are in for a treat. Get ready to hear a vocal powerhouse in the form of Vivian sessoms. Not only is she a show stopping performer, but she can deliver a ballad as beautifully as any on the scene today. Although she’s been compared to Sarah, Ella and Nancy Wilson, it’s instantly clear to the listener that she has her own distinct sound.

She’s been a featured vocalist for artists as varied as Chris Botti to Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20) to Eric Benet & Will Downing. She’s written and/or produced for numerous artist’s including Ryuichi Sakamoto, Towa Tei (Dee Lite), Lalah Hathaway & Amel Larrieux.

She’s also been a backing vocalist for Cher, Stevie Wonder, Joe Cocker, P!nk and countless others, before moving on to a solo career. She’ll be headlining jazz clubs and festivals across Australia, the U.S. and Europe this summer.

Since 2013, the vivacious Vivian Sessoms has stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist, releasing a stunning electronic-soul collection, Radiant. Look for her new CD Heart, in 2015.
