Synopsis
“A Journey On Two Turtles - Wisdom of Native American Elders” is a transmedia project by Martin Renaud (Two Turtles Productions) focusing on 6 x 5 minutes interviews with Native American spiritual leaders on ceremonial sites across North and South America.
The interviews will be revealing many aspects of the Red Road, the Native American spiritual path. It will include teachings about the ceremonies of Sweatlodge, Vision Quest and Sun Dance. Charismatic elders will share the stories of the Prophecy of the Seven Fires, the Meeting of the Condor and the Eagle Prophecy and other stories with wisdom relevant to our times.
The purpose of this project is to share with a large audience the vitality of the Red Road movement, uniting hundreds of thousand people, including over 250,000 in the Native American Church (NAC) and rapidly developing in South America.
This series of interviews posted on a dedicated YouTube channel will be complimented with a reflective style “on the road” segments with Martin Renaud of Two Turtles Productions. It will highlight his spiritual journey from ceremony to ceremony, to the sun dances in Ottawa, South Dakota, Mexico and Chile, as well as his service in NAC communities.
Alongside the video assets on the YouTube channel and shared over social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), the project includes a blog with teachings about the symbolism, protocol, prayers and songs of the different nations Martin will travel to.
