New to Foundry616, Sarah Samiakos is a young singer and songwriter, who will be introducing her original music to the scene for the first time. After studying under the guidance of Sydney's most prominent vocalists such as Trish Delaney-Brown (Idea Of North), Sarah is rapidly developing her own sound combining pop, soul and jazz elements into her songwriting and performance. She is highly influenced by artists such as Corinne Bailey Rae, Kimbra & Esperanza Spalding, with jazz, soul, R&B, hip/hop, rock, blues and pop all informing her choices. 

Sarah presents her fresh and captivating compositions as well as her own take on some well known tunes with some of the industries finest young talent, particularly writing closely with Pianist Joel Jenkins (Joel Jenkins Trio).

+ Frances Castley 8,00pm

Frances Castley is an acoustic/folk Sydney Singer/Songwriter who has been singing, writing and performing for over 5 years. This year Frances is recording and launching her first originals EP called "The Conversation" which is due to pre-release in July and is to officially launch in December. She intends to embark on a two month USA tour to draw inspiration for her writing as well as gain exposure, experience and insight into one of the biggest music scene's in the world. Her songs, raw and stripped back, are all based on personal experience and therefore have a compelling relatability about them. 

This will be a night of stellar music not to be missed.
