Dean Haglund (X-Files, The Lone Gunmen, RoboCop: Alpha Commando, Spectres) and David Razowksy (Second City, Steppenwolf, Boom Chicago, Whose Line is it Anyway, Mo’ Money, The Young and the Restless), weave together a magical hour of hilarious improv comedy, with just two men and a blank stage. To be followed by an audience Q&A.
Due to a scheduling fluke, friends and comedians David Razowsky and Dean Haglund find themselves together in Sydney for one night only, a night unlikely to be repeated.
Dean Haglund is best known for his role of Richard “Ringo” Langly in X-Files and the spin–off The Lone Gunmen, and roles in Bones, Spectres, RoboCop: Alpha Commando and many others. He’s also a stand up comedian with a long history in improv comedy, is an alumni of Second City, Groundlings and Vancouver Theatresports™, and regularly performs new solo improvised episodes of X-Files at fan conventions all over the world.
David Razowsky was Artistic Director of Second City LA for many years, and has worked as director, performer and in various consultancy roles with companies such as Steppenwolf, Dreamworks, Whose Line Is It Anyway, and Amsterdam’s Boom Chicago. He was also a staff writer for The Simpsons Comic and The Simpsons Sunday, and directed and performed with the Second City main stage (with cast members including Steve Carrel, Stephen Colbert and Jeff Garlin) and Second City touring companies. He’s been called “the guru of improvisation” and “an improvisor’s improvisor”. David will also be in Sydney to give workshops on improv comedy with http://improvtheatrecompany.com
Dean and David will follow their performance with an audience Q&A.
