Dusty Ravens will be returning to Django bar in August supported by Triple J Unearthed winner Roland Kay-Smith. Dusty Raven's debut album 'Stories of Love and Death' gives a nod to a few things orbiting close to, and south of the border: Mexican Mariarchi, desert plains country, and snippets of flamenco. They've been described as Willie Nelson meets Tom Waits, but throw in Calexico and you're not far from the mark of their desert plains Mexicali sound. Roland released his debut album ‘Sailing by the Stars’, which has been described as “introspective Dylan mixed with Ryan Adams” attracted airplay on triple j, FBi 94.5, 2SER and community radio stations across the country.
