Direct from New York, Australian classical guitar duo Ziggy and Miles make their Camelot debut in a globetrotting program from the Beatles to Brazil via Paris and Argentina!

In the footsteps of the world-famous guitar duos, Ziggy and Miles are the “Australian guitarist brothers making history” (The Age), as the first Australian graduates of Juilliard's famed Artist Diploma, and Winners of the 2023 YCA (Young Concert Artists) Susan Wadsworth International Auditions, the first guitar duo and second guitarists ever to receive this prestigious award in the organisation’s 63-year history.

Ziggy and Miles’ latest album, Sidekick, reveals their immaculate mastery with their “deeply considered musicianship, immaculate care and superlative technique” (5MBS) - and featured as one of WQXR’s “Best New Classical Albums of 2023”. Praised by Soundboard Magazine as “[played] with perfect unanimity and admirable virtuosity”, it showcases new works written for the brothers, their own “transfixingly beautiful” (Limelight) arrangement of Debussy’s Clair de Lune, and works that have shaped their musical identity from Spain, Latin America, and Australia. The title track “Sidekick” is a character piece written for the brothers by award winning composer Katie Jenkins that intentionally inflates and satires their relationship with musical bickering and sparring virtuosity.

With music by Radamés Gnattali, one of the great masters of Brazilian and Latin-American music, to tangos by Piazzolla, classic Beatles songs and evocative Australian works by Leonard Grigoryan, Ken Murray and Nigel Westlake, there will be something for everyone - kick back with an evening of classical guitar in the hands of one of Australia's most exciting young duos forging a career on the international stage.
