Linc Phelps’s relatability as a working-class bloke, a husband and dad combined with his ability to get his honest and unapologetic message out to the world in song, has landed him in rooms with some of the industry’s finest.

He is an artist who wears his heart on his sleeve, and this is never more evident than in the lyrics of his original music. His much-anticipated 2nd album is set to be released in March 2025 and is a collection of cleverly written and emotive songs, many of them composed with one of Australia’s most sought-after songwriters and producers of today, Gavin Carfoot (Max Jackson, Loren Ryan, James Johnston).

With influences such as Bruce Springsteen, Ryan Adams, John Prine and Tom Petty, along with inspiration from blues, roots and soul pioneers such as Bonnie Raitt and Delbert McClinton, Linc Phelps writes and performs his own brand of ‘alt country’. A nod to Americana artists such as Jason Isbell and Amos Lee has seen Linc develop what could best be described as a truly authentic sound and one that avoided the clichés that flavours some contemporary country music.

Linc has already amassed a legion of supporters, many of whom are his peers in the music industry including Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley who said of their friend “We’ve been fans of Linc since we met him about 5 years ago and enjoyed watching his growth in the industry. He always brings a rock star swagger to a live performance and blends musical styles effortlessly.”

Linc has recently scored radio airplay across Australia with his most recent releases, "Hundred Percent", "Sing A Little Louder" and the latest, "Workin' On Me".

Jen Mize has built her reputation as a formidable songwriter and performer. Her debut album, ‘Fear, Pride & A Few Stubborn Angels’ charted on the ‘Americana Top 100’ in the USA, and she recorded her 2016 album, ‘Warnings and Wisdom’ with ARIA, APRA & Golden Guitar winning, producer & songwriter Shane Nicholson.

Her newest project the 8-piece country/soul band ‘Jen Mize & The Rough N’ Tumble’ has recently set the music scene ablaze. Jen and the fellas released their self-titled album in early 2023 and it quickly brought ‘The Rough N’ Tumble’ two #1 singles on the Amrap Radio Charts, along with racking up some serious accolades with 4-star reviews in both The Australian & Rhythms Magazine all while landing the RN’T the 2023 Queensland Music Award for Blues and Roots. Their record then spent a whopping 5 months in the top 20 on the Australian Blues & Roots Airplay Chart.

Host of nationally lauded Alt Country & Americana radio show ‘Three Chords & The Truth’ with her pal Paddy McHugh, Jen has played some of the major music festivals around Australia like Caloundra Music Festival, Woodford Folk Festival, Gympie Music Muster, Dashville Skyline and Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Jen also mentors up and coming songwriters through programs like The Dag Sheep Station Songwriter’s Retreat (NSW), The Song Muster (QLD), USQ’s MacGregor School (QLD), and songwriting masterclasses at QUT and JMC. Media have long been singing Jen’s praises.

John Walker, Executive Producer of the highly respected, and long running Nashville staple and syndicated live music show Music City Roots, didn’t hold back when he said, ‘Jen Mize is more than a great singer-songwriter. She’s a true artist. From the first time I heard her sing, she gripped my heart with raw honesty and deep soul.’

Join us for a night with LINC PHELPS AND JEN MIZE - two artists who are among some of Australia’s most name checked emerging singer songwriters. Limited tickets available and on sale now. This is a show not to be missed.
