Place: Hotel Delaney, Darby St COOKS HILL

We are all living in an era of rapid change – corporate, economic, political, technological and social – all of which provide both opportunities and challenges - and can impact one’s career and work life. Careers are no longer guaranteed and there is now greater importance on taking personal responsibility for your career advancement and "personal brand".
This session will be facilitated by Peter Black, a CA for over 30 years and an experienced Business and Executive Coach, with significant experience in career management and transition strategies. Peter will address issues such as:

- developing relevant competencies and experience, particularly interpersonal and communication skills
- how to position yourself in an organisation - and whether you should "play politics"
- actively networking to build your profile - both internally and externally
- the importance of a "personal brand" - and how to manage your social media for your brand
- building resilience and adaptability to change
Experiential networking and social media sessions will be facilitated to assist to develop these skills. Participants should bring appropriate devices to access social media sites during the session.
Further details on Peter can be found at www.peterblackcoaching.com, at LinkedIn https://au.linkedin.com/in/peterblackexecutivecoach or on Twitter @PeterBlackCoach
