ProGraze Abridged 

Description: An intensive two day course to develop skills in assessing pasture and animal production and to develop pasture and livestock management plans. This course is an abridged version of the eight day Prograze^TM course. Participants will receive a course manual. Tea and coffee will be provided, but participants will be required to bring their own lunch and morning tea, and a chair.

Course aims: 

• To visually assess pasture quantity and quality
• To understand how pasture quality and quantity impact on animal production
• assess livestock fat scores
• To use pasture and livestock assessment as a basis for matching pastures to livestock requirements
• Use grazing management to improve the productivity and sustainability of pastures
