Event Overview
Welcome to the 36th Annual Corroboree Park Challenge 2025 hosted by the Palmerston Game Fishing Club. Held from October 3–5, 2025, this event brings together fishing enthusiasts, families, and the NT community for a weekend of adventure, camaraderie, and competitive spirit. CPC is open to both PGFC members and non-members, encouraging everyone to experience the Top End’s unique outdoor lifestyle.

Who Can Enter
Corroboree Park Challenge is open to individuals, families, juniors, and teams. PGFC members receive a discounted entry fee and access to exclusive categories. All participants must register prior to competition commencement and agree to the event rules and regulations.

Competition Boundaries
- Corroboree Billabong
- Mary River Billabong
- Hardies Billabong
- Shady Fresh
All fish must be caught and logged within these boundaries during competition hours.
Competition Rules
- Fishing may commence only after the designated start time.
- Only fish photographed on an approved measure mat provided in skipper bags and competitor cards will be accepted.
- Entries must be submitted via the Track My Fish app by the end of competition hours
- Each angler is responsible for ensuring accurate and honest reporting.
- Respect NT Fisheries regulations at all times - https://nt.gov.au/marine/recreational-fishing
- Raffle and Lucky Door winners must be present at the time of draw. If the winner is not in attendance, a redraw will take place.
Fish Welfare & Safety
- All anglers are expected to handle fish humanely and practice safe catch-and-release techniques.
- Competitors must be 'Crocwise' and follow NT Parks and Wildlife safety guidelines - https://becrocwise.nt.gov.au/
- All boats must carry the minimum requirements for safety equipment as outlined by Marine Safety NT – https://nt.gov.au/marine/marine-safety/safety-guides-and-equipment/safety-guide-recreational-boating
Judging & Scoring
- Judges will validate all entries using the Track My Fish app data.
- Final results will be based on total fish length for designated species.

Refund Policy
Refunds up to 14 days before the event, Competition refunds will be considered on a case by case basis after the committee assess the circumstances. Factors to be considered include, time remaining, expenditure to date & availability of other options. Fishing Shirts are non-refundable
