Two of Australia's finest alt-country/folk artists Sal Kimber and John Flanagan will hit the road together through the first half of 2016 as part of their double album launch tour. Sal and John will bring their show to Sydney’s ‘Django Bar in a special show which will feature Sal with her much loved alt country rock five piece 'The Rollin’ Wheel' and John with a trio of stellar musicians.

Produced and mastered by Shane O'Mara at yikesville studios, “Southern Light” is Sal Kimber’s third album and features her captivating and close knit band The Rollin' Wheel. This rich and expansive production is succinct in length and vast in scope, spanning country, pop, folk, rock, multi-layered instrumentation and rapsodic arrangement.

John Flanagan’s star is on the rise since recording his latest album ‘There’s Another Way to Where You’re Going’ in Nashville with producer Viktor Krauss, Grammy award winning engineer Neal Cappellino and an all star cast of musicians in Nashville and Melbourne. Viktor’s layered yet subtle arrangements allow the raw honesty and yearning melodies of John’s songwriting to shine.
