A New Dawn: Global Prayer & Meditation for Peace in the Middle East

JOIN US FOR A PRAYER / MEDITATION FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST

My name is Angela Sciberras and I decided to take a stand. And I need your help. I have chosen to take on a project named the ‪#‎peaceinME‬ movement. I started a Facebook page only a couple of months ago to begin this movement and stand, and within this time we now have almost 12,000 souls world wide standing for Peace in the Middle East - Let it start with ME! #peaceinME + #peaceinU = #worldpeace

We have people standing in the Middle East, Germany, all over Australia and more. The people of the world are ready and waiting, and now they just need leadership and examples of a stand of Unconditional Love to follow. I know we can do it.

What is #peaceinME, well it is the vision and stand that I have had in my heart for the possibility, in my life time to see peace in the Middle East. Not only peace but prosperity, and joy that spreads to us all on our desperate planet. I too believe that humanity is one family and the time has come for unification into a peaceful global society. 

Peace in ME, came to me as a vision a little while back, when I saw the words "Peace in the Middle East" run across my mind, but this time with the M in Middle and E in East standing out like show lights. ME. And slowly my mind wrapped around what it takes to see this become a reality. It really is all about ME. I am YOU and YOU ARE ME, and together we can bring peace to this world if we just grasp that it all starts within.. Within each and everyone of us. If there is Peace in ME, then I would never want to harm anyone.

THE EVENT: 

YOU MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND AS WE MUST KNOW NUMBERS TO BE PREPARED.

So as part of this movement, we have created this synchronised Prayer / Meditation event that is being mirrored in the Middle East. At dawn on the 21st of Feburary 2016 near by the Pyramids - People in Egypt will meet and pray for the possibility of peace and prosperity in their world, in our world, and we as a stand with them, will meet and meditate or pray with them at the same time. So we will be meeting at 3pm Sydney time on the 21st of February to join with our international partners in the creation of peace. We have people who are also committed to meet and join us from Germany and other places across the world. More information will be released as it becomes available. 

What I am hoping is that this will bring a gathering of people who wish to stand in solidarity and unity in the name of #PeaceinME - stand for Peace in the Middle East - building bridges between East and West with the foundation being UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. I am just one person, and alone I cannot achieve this goal I NEED YOU! 

THE VENUE: 

To be clear, I have chosen this venue for its beauty, tranquility, and also for their stand for unity of humanity. I am not affiliated with any religion, but stand for all humans, respecting and embracing all ways of expression. So for those of you who wonder, it isn't a Bahai event, and we are so grateful to have access to this beautiful place to be together in harmony. 

HOW IT WILL WORK: Because this is a place that is open to anyone and everyone in the community, a place of peace to be, we will need to create this event in a certain way. 

1) Arrival at 3pm - please feel free to quietly sit or walk around the gardens. You can go to the allotted picnic area where there are tables and chairs to quietly chat, but please remember the area around the temple is a quiet zone so those inside can enjoy the peace. 

2) At 3.30pm we will all make our way into the Temple. At that moment we go in as humans. Just being together in peace regardless of who we are, race, religion, colour, creed, etc. Once inside the temple we will spend half an hour just BEING together in silence and peace.

It is important to note that there will be no speeches, speaking or noise of any kind. Just being together. We will sit in prayer / mediation for half an hour and then you can as you wish, leave the temple and make your way to the gardens or picnic grounds. 

3) You may stay in the temple as long as you wish, and half an hour is all I ask us to commit to. Once this part of the day is complete, we can take photos in the garden, to mark our connection and enjoy some time together. 

4) There are rest rooms available on site. And the day will be complete by no later than 5pm as the Temple closes. 

5) The temple houses 600 people! How amazing would it be to fill it with peaceful humans sending love, and prosperity to the middle east, and communities that need love here also. 

I realised that it is my responsibility to take a stand, to stop waiting for our governments and so called leaders to stand for us, to stand for what is truly best for every one on this planet, and not the few. It realised that I truly did need to find it in myself to "BE THE CHANGE I WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD." (Gandhi)

And so here I am. I am starting a project that I really need your help. It really is time for us all to stand for one another regardless of race, culture, creed,colour back ground religion or nationality.

WHO I AM IS THE POSSIBILITY OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND GLOBAL CONNECTION at a time when the ordinary world around us seems to be everything possible to encourage us to divide and hate.

I have a goal to reach 1 MILLION members on our Peace in ME Facebook page by the end of 2016. Everyone you know who would like to see a transformation in our world, everyone who wishes to leave a better world behind us then we left it, everyone who wishes peace for our children and grandchildren to inherit, all of you who wish to see prosperity for all people not just some.

So please join me, and lets see what magic we can create in the name of peace. I am truly hoping that you join us on the 21st of Feburary, whether it be here at our physical event in Sydney, or where ever you are. 1 person or many, every person counts.
