Event Details

The South West Metro Pirates  planned on conducting a "Heritage" game to celebrate all the past players, coaches, managers and sponsors who contributed to the club's QBL history. Special singlets are being made with the names of every person who has contributed to the club's QBL history, including the club's life members. Prominent past player and multiple championship winning guard, Peni Nasalo, a man with a proud Fijian background, suggested the event be used to raise funds for victims of cyclone "Winston" that ravaged the islands of Fiji recently.

Five dollars from every "Single Entry" ticket  and ten dollars from every "Family Entry" ticket sold will be donated to the Red Cross, "Tropical Cyclone Winston Appeal". The event is registered with the Red Cross. There will be signed celebrity singlet auctions and the opportunity to buy the "Heritage" singlets. All funds raised by the celebrity singlet auctions  will be donated to the appeal as well $5 from every "Heritage" singlet sold.

There will be other fundraising activities run throughout the evening, so please come along and support a great cause!
