During National Pollinator Week, Matthew and Juliet from Beezotted will be taking us on a deep dive into our local native bee species. Throughout this fun-filled day we'll cover a range of topics including all the bee basics, identification, information on how and why to attract them to your garden or farm and what are the things we should avoid in order to protect these precious pollinators. We'll also get to have some fun making our very own insect hotel and go for a walk in the grounds to check out what natives we can find at work.
The Community Nursery will have some pollinator attracting plants for sale on the day
Morning tea provided by members of Gwydir Ark.
BYO lunch.
The day is proudly supported by Gwydir Ark, NW Local Land Services, SQNNSW Drought Hub, Northern Slopes Landcare Association and Gwydir Shire Council.
