Join us for the next evening as part of our ongoing 'Solo Piano Masters' series.
Tonight, two of our leading pianist/composers take you on very personal musical journeys.
Mark Isaacs - 10.00pm
Mark Isaacs looks forward to returning to Foundry 616, and to one of his favourite mediums, solo jazz piano.
The last few months has seen Mark undertaking Australian tours as both a jazz pianist and classical pianist, and also conducting his compositions with symphony orchestra or large chamber ensemble, including at City Recital Hall in Sydney.

Judy Bailey - 8.30pm
JUDY BAILEY OAM Pianist, Composer, Educator
As a classically trained pianist who transitioned into the jazz orbit, Judy Bailey has maintained a long and diverse career which has involved performance, teaching, recording, touring and composing/orchestrating for various Ensembles, Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Orchestra.
Renowned for her expert leadership of several different ensembles, from trios to her 18-piece orchestra, Jazz Connection, Judy is also an accomplished soloist. She has received numerous Awards, and was inducted into the Jazz Hall of Fame (Bell Awards). She continues to perform widely and teaches at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
NB Watch out for the forthcoming double album `Another Journey` featuring a selection
of her original works for Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Orchestra.
