This 4-week online Speechcraft course will help you build practical speaking skills in a supportive, small-group environment.

Run by Mackay Lunchmasters Toastmasters Club, with support from experienced Toastmasters in Brisbane, this course is designed to give you real-world communication skills you can use immediately.

Course Objectives

Over four engaging sessions, you will:

• Build confidence speaking in front of others
• Learn how to organise and deliver a clear message
• Practise impromptu speaking (thinking on your feet)
• Give and receive supportive feedback
• Prepare and deliver your own short speeches

Course Schedule (Online via Teams)

All sessions: 12 noon – 1 pm

Week 1 – 3 June

Introduction to Toastmasters, Educational sessions, Table Topics (impromptu speaking)

Week 2 – 10 June

Educational sessions and Table Topics practice

BREAK

Time to prepare your speech and observe, an optional, in-person Toastmasters club meeting.

Week 3 – 24 June

Participants deliver prepared speeches

Week 4 – 1 July

Final speeches and graduation
