2016 International Rally of Queensland (IROQ) will once again take place in the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland in June as Round 2 of the FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship, Round 3 of the Australian Rally Championship and Round 3 of the Queensland Rally Championship. 

Headquarters is located at the Waterfront Hotel on David Low Way at Diddillibah.  The Waterfront Hotel also offers a variety of accommodation options and a short drive to Maroochydore.  The Waterfront facility will also host Saturday's overnight Parc Ferme.

The Service Park will be located at the Imbil Showgrounds and will provide a central, vibrant and spectator friendly hub for competitors, corporate partners and rally fans alike.  

The competition route provides around 240 km of challenging drivers' stages through the Imbil State Forest. 

The Ceremonial Start will this year be located at Cotton Tree Park in Maroochydore.  This is a free public event for enthusiasts and families.  The event will start with a Rally Show commencing at 3.00 pm with live entertainment, face painting, rides and food vendors.  The drivers cars will be parked on display for all to view followed by signing of autographs.   This is a great event not to be missed.
