Mahmood Khan and his MKF Band featuring  Tamasin Howard

History shows that very few indigenous artists get to create a worldwide audience, blurring cultural and geographic boundaries and expanding the music Industry. Tremendous amounts of faith, courage and love for music is required to build a niche audience that follows a unique sound which transcend commercial Radio and TV. In this spirit of expansion new genres take birth adding to the gift of experience of music to mankind. This road less travelled is starred by names like Van Morrison, John Denver,  Paul Simon, Geoffrey Gurumul, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Mahmood Khan to name a few.

MKF is a 12 member Australian band created by Mahmood Khan. They  recorded their live debut album at the Sydney Opera House. Their first single, Like the River made its debut at number 3 on the ARIA charts and moved on to become a No.1 Hit on the ARIA physical sales charts!
