One of the most popular aspects of our Live for Kids events is Olivia’s Ride. An annual ride, which is focussed on fun, and allowing cyclists of all levels to experience the Live for Kids ride, and to ride with those who have completed the full cycle challenge from Coffs Harbour to Newcastle.
This year the Olivia’s Ride format has been revised to allow for a much broader participation level. The ride be held on Fernleigh Track, an off road cycleway, to create a safe environment away from traffic, with a key focus being the participation of children and their families.
The ride will be held on Sunday the 15th August, on the newly completed Fernleigh track, from Adamstown through to Redhead.
Early registrations will receive a complimentary Live for Kids Olivia's Ride T-Shirt.

Ride Details
The Live for Kids Cycle Challenge Riders will arrive at the Adamstown End of the track at 2pm, and the official ride will commence at 2.15 at the Adamstown End of Fernleigh Track, and will proceed to the finish at Redhead.
Participants are encouraged to park at the Redhead end of the track and ride from Redhead to Adamstown, and then return at 2.15 as a group (Distance 18km).
Alternatively, particpants can join the ride at Adamstown and ride the 9km event one way to Redhead, or join the ride at the various entry points to the track. For younger children, a good option is to join at Whitebridge, as it is predominantly a downhill run to Redhead from that point.
Regardless of your staring point, you will need to check in with our team at the Redhead end of the track, and collect your T-Shirt for the Ride (for early online registrations).
Registration will not be available on the day of the ride.
