Highly respected songwriter, singer and guitarist Liz Stringer returns to Django with her band, fresh off the back of eight solid months touring her 2016 full-length release, 'All The Bridges', including two stints in Canada and the US and extensive Aussie venue and festival dates. The last year has seen Stringer reinforce her growing reputation for the highest quality musicianship, creative autonomy and blistering live shows.
Joining Liz for the run of shows is one of Perth’s premier songwriters, Timothy Nelson. Known for his work with The Infidels, Nelson has taken out several WAMIs and is a staple band member, playing keys, in WA's The Kill Devil Hills. More recently Nelson released a solo album, "Words Like Young", late last year. Recorded and co-produced by Dan Caroll at Rada Studios in Perth, Nelson's debut LP shines with equal parts poise and swagger, echoing homages to ELO and Teenage Fanclub, and places him among the most skilful and exciting songwriters and musicians in the country at the moment.
