Are you an academic or professional researcher – and a long-term or intensive user of the National Library’s collections and services, whether onsite, online or both? Curious about how the Library goes about its work? Wondering what is changing at the Library and why?

In this session, Director-General Dr Marie-Louise Ayres FAHA, and two members of the Executive team will provide professional researchers with insights into how the Library operates, is funded, makes decisions and prioritises its work. We will also briefly introduce our long-term strategies, our touchpoints with the research sector, and our successes and challenges – including those emanating from our major building works program and uncertainty around Trove funding.

We will allocate a significant portion of the event for questions from onsite and online participants.

A link to participate online will be sent out to all participants closer to the event time.
