‘TREE OF LOVE ‘

Not just your everyday art program!

This art workshop with therapeutic value is designed to help children explore their own creativity and to celebrate their creative individuality. It is designed to help children identify with their own emotions and to teach them valuable mindful skills that can help to self-regulate in fun and interactive ways. Using a variety of art and craft materials they will create their unique artwork to serve as coping resources when needed. All this in a fun, creative and supportive environment.

The Tree of Love workshop will allow children to explore their creativity by building their own pop-up 3D tree. They will use a variety of art and craft materials to decorate their trees in a manner that suits their own individuality. The leaves will represent their positive affirmations, a list of their strengths, goals and dreams. This activity will be interactive and engaging and will also include music, movement and games. This tree representation sculpture will help children to identify their strengths and build up coping strategies as they learn, grow and develop.
