Our function this month will include a light breakfast and presentations focusing on Security and Cyber Security.

With billions of dollars in defence contracts rolling out over the next few decades, it is clear that opportunities are opening up for new organisations to join the defence supply chain. Whilst becoming a supplier to defence has its advantages, there are also new risks, including intensifying cyber threats. Members will be familiar with the numerous calls to “Improve Your Cyber Security”, but what does that mean…and how is a Small to Medium Enterprise with limited resources expected to do this? During this function we will cover some of the immediately applicable steps that SMEs can take to improve their cyber security and move toward standards valued by Defence. Best of all, we’ll start with the free ones!

This function contains critical updates from industry leading experts on both Cyber Security and the new Security Working Guide, and we encourage every SME doing business with Defence, either directly or through the primes, to attend.

Attendance is free for members of AIDN NSW with a cost of $60 for non-members. This is refundable from an initial AIDN membership fee on joining.

Please RSVP by Tuesday 23rd March
