SECONDARY - TASTER SESSION

This 1-hour online Teacher PD session is targeted to secondary school educators. Attend this session to discover practical methods to incorporate curriculum-aligned STEM Food and Fibre content into your classroom.

NSW DPI PROGRAM – 30mins: This session will showcase NSW DPI’s new food and fibre Industry Insights teaching resources and poster series including:

• Dairy production in NSW
• Pork production in NSW
• Plant structure and function
• Agricultural crops and pastures of NSW
• Weeds in NSW

PIEFA PROGRAM – 30mins: This session will showcase the new Meat and Livestock teaching resources, Australian Eggs teaching resources – and how to implement the Farmer Time program in the classroom. This session will also provide an overview of all the programs that PIEFA has to offer.
