A young rising British star in the world of rhythm & blues, jazz, funk, blues, Latin and roots music is joining forces with one of Australia’s blues legends to bring an exhilarating, one-of-a-kind musical experience to Qirkz in the Hunter.

“Brush with the Blues” will see saxophone virtuoso Tom Waters - the prodigiously talented son of renowned UK pianist Ben Waters - and iconic blues guitarist Geoff Achison combine their remarkable talents for a show that promises to break new ground in the worlds of blues, country, rock and funky jazz.

The show is dedicated to the late Jeff Beck, composer of “Brush with the Blues”, a number Tom played alongside Jeff at London’s famous Ronnie Scott’s Club.

With a backing band of keys, bass & drums, the show promises a dazzling display of musicianship at this exciting Hunter Valley venue.
