This workshop is designed to encourage children to practice mindfulness and to explore their own creativity in a fun and supportive space. Children will not only learn to explore their own creativity but also gain valuable skills in problem-solving, responsibility, nurturing and building on their confidence all in a fun and interactive environment.  

Using recycled materials, they will learn about sustainability and the environment as they paint and decorate their very own container for their plant. Children will have the freedom to choose from a variety of different plants and learn how to de-pot and re-plant their plants into their completed creation. They will also learn about the different layers of soil and will be given instructions on how to care for and nurture their plants at home.    

Children will explore their own creativity while gaining valuable skills & resources on how to express their feelings & emotions. Other activities will include, music and movement and creating artwork. All materials will be supplied.

Suitable for school-aged children 6- 12 years.

$40 per child plus a $2.50 booking fee

This program is specially designed by two qualified Arts Psychotherapists Michelle Urquhart and Soraya Pickard who recognised the need for children to practice mindfulness and self-care in a fun and interactive way.  Groups are small, with a maximum of 8 children per session with two facilitators present.
