 This isn't just a Mexican food feast, more like a house party on an amazing rooftop terrace with friends (and their friends), authentic Mexican food, really good drinks (+free tequila tasting sesh), some dancing and our usual VERY silly fun & games

Don't have tix? Join us for free from 3pm-6pm for rooftop drinks like Frozen Margaritas (Classic or Chili-Lime), $8 Coronas & Negra Modelos. Or if you're really up to then try the Jedi "Lightsavour" upgrade to your frozen marg... warning: this is VERY boozy; do NOT operate any landspeeders if drinking this and call a Taun Taun to take you home. 

FEAST

Mexican-American Chef Cisco (Masterchef Top 40 finalist) is all ours for 1 day only! He's crafting a set menu feast that includes his authentic Tijuana style street tacos & more. The menu may change (ie due to freshness/availability of ingredients closer to the time, etc) but is likely to include:

Tacos Carne Asada
Tacos Carnitas
Tacos Nopales
Tacos Al Pastor
Tacos Chorizo
Elote
Totopos con salsa
some "refreshing" dessert
Whatever the final menu is, it'll have a guaranteed minimum 8 items inc at least 5 authentic tacos! ! ! ! According to Chef "there's at least 1.3lbs of street tacos per person PLUS all the other dishes" so you won't walk away hungry
All/almost all of menu will be gluten free. Vege substitutes can be made available but they won't all be vegan 

FIESTA

 Cinco de Mayo isn't the only holiday in early May, we also need to honour the greatest celebration in the galaxy... May the 4th Be With You!
 We're exclusively taking over Sweetheart's Rooftop for our indoor/outdoor fiesta. It's a beautiful space, with heat/weather protection and it used to be a Mexican restaurant! 
 There'll also be some cheeky fun & games including our famous Star Wars Lotteria (Mexican bingo)
 Over $1,000 in free prizes & giveaways

TICKETS

Tickets are limited to 4 per person at this stage because supply is short. Tix include entry, set food menu, free tequila tasting, free lotteria and lots of chances to win over $1,000 in prizes & giveaways.

Doors open 11am, but show up any before 12:30pm to not miss any food (you can show up later too but may miss first course)
Free Lotteria starts at 11:30am for those who want to play. At least $300 worth of prizes given away during this time
First course will be served at noon, final course will be served around 2:30pm.
There'll be fun & games & prizes throughout + dancing, etc and we can stay as long as we like! 

MORE ABOUT THE FOOD

Chef Cisco is a taco aficionado. Raised in Chula Vista California, he’s the first of his family born outside Mexico but he keeps his family traditions alive through his passion for Mexican food and Mexican culture. In fact, many of the recipes on the day will be his late grandmother’s. And if that’s not cool enough, his father was part of the first group to ever celebrate Cinco de Mayo in the US in the 1960’s (before it became a drinking holiday). He only cooks from the heart and only uses fresh ingredients including hand-made nixtamal corn tortillas, all salsas, guacs, etc. Thanks in advance Cisco…you’re awesome and once again, you’ve already done your family proud.

~ We must stand with our Mexican neighbours and pay tribute not only to the 159th anniversary of the heroic Battle of Puebla, but to the nation that has blessed us with tequila, tacos and vague-but-blissful memories of our Spring Breaks. ~

~ While miliones de gringos all across North America will celebrate of our proclaimed Mexican nacional holiday as an excuse to tip back a few margaritas or even partake in tequila body shots, many of us here in Sydney will be homesick for some authentic, Mexican food & some comradery. ~

~ So we will bring you a ROOFTOP FEAST y FIESTA all in one. A celebracion of amazing food together with fun & games & drinks & dancing & more ~
