The late 60’s and early 70’s was the golden age of British rock. Big Merino will pitch some of the classic Stones songs against some equally classic Beatles numbers. You be the judge. Big Merino also plays original music that blurs the lines between rock, country, blues, roots, soul and pop. Despite an obvious passion for what’s often called ‘Americana' their music also somehow manages to sound quintessentially Australian – the words and sounds shaped by the landscape and our own stories.
