“Something Wonderful” is a delightful mix of romantic favourites set to warm your winter hearts.
Soprano and Port Stephens singing teacher Samantha Cobcroft is joined by Central Coast violinist Sylvia Colegrove and Newcastle superstar pianist, Vincent Parmeter for an afternoon of lovely music at 2pm on Sunday July 31.
Join us in the theatre at St Philip’s College, Salamander Bay, where Vincent will carry you away with beautiful Chopin waltzes played on the piano donated to the school by Musical Matinees Inc.
Sylvia has chosen to play all of the most glorious violin music including Czardas and the stunning meditation from Thais.
Samantha will sing songs by Puccini and Handel as well as selections from My Fair Lady and The King and I.
We also have a very special surprise guest performer!
As you would expect from Musical Matinees Inc concerts, there will be a chance for you to sing along with our performers and at interval we will serve complimentary sumptuous homemade refreshments.
