Erin Badman and Gaia Scarf will be performing their original music in an intimate setting at The Newagency. This is set to be a really fun night of acoustic goodness. Both vocalists have a short and sweet approach to songwriting and are inspired by artists such as Gretchen Parlato and Lianne La Havas. The night will open with Gaia, who as a solo artist, paints a picture in audio with catchy lyrics, silky smooth vocals and luring guitar playing. She subtly blends colours of jazz, pop and soul to create her own dreamy sound. Singer/songwriter Erin will follow Gaia’s performance with a mostly acoustic and rhythmically entrancing hybrid of jazz and folk. Her voice has an ethereal quality that bends without breaking, and weaves without tangling beautiful storytelling and wordless melodies.
