The Covid 19 pandemic has brought on the most dramatic disruption of supply chains since the Second World War. The long tail of this disruption is likely to last for at least another two years. However, beyond Covid, it has highlighted the vulnerabilities in global supply chains and the importance of understanding and managing supply chain risk.
A 2020 global study of supply chain managers highlighted that well before the pandemic, major disruptions that interrupted supply for more than one month were occurring every 3.7 years. This presentation discusses the challenges facing modern supply chain managers and provides effective strategies to manage and mitigate supply chain risk.
With real life examples and clear explanation this interactive presentation will provide you with a new way to look at your supply chain ad practical ways to stay on top of the supply chain challenges we are all facing.
Presented by Tim McLean, Principal of TXM Solutions Pty. Ltd Australia, Tim is one of Australia’s most respected manufacturing and supply chain practitioners and thinkers.
