Swing Into Christmas at Bundanoon with The Escalators

Back by popular demand, and now wearing the crown of Jazz Artist of the Year 2016 (MusicOz Awards), The Escalators will be Swinging into Christmas at Bundanoon Country Inn Sunday, December 11, with a fabulous 6-piece band!

The award-winning sound of The Escalators connects their jazz roots with the sounds of soul, reggae and the South Coast. Their two studio releases have inspired extensive East Coast travels & earned them prestigious invitations to Noosa, Manly & Phillip Island Jazz Festivals, among many others.

For this exclusive event The Escalators will pay homage to the fabulous dance music of 1930s & 1940s Swing and dip their toe into 1950s Rock’n’Roll and even a little 1960s soul. As a festive treat a handful of favourite Christmas melodies will be on the programme, in the soulful jazz style of The Escalators of course.

The gorgeous tone of Jenny Blunden's voice embraces you & steals your heart, backed by her trio of Lachlan Mackenzie (guitar), Mason Colley (upright bass) & Hayden Moore (drum kit). This talented line-up will be embellished with The Swinging Horns: David Reglar (tenor sax) & David Cunningham (trumpet).

Guests will be greeted with a drink on arrival, and a selection of delicious canapes will be served, all included in the ticket price. A full bar service will also be available.
