LUISON & THE CUBAN GROOVE deliver authentic Cuban rhythms that makes your soul want to dance. Led by singer, percussionist LUISON CAPOTE the group brings the heat of Cuba to the dance floor through a rich & vibrant repertoire. Drawing from styles such as Latin jazz, son cubano, rumba, afro, cha-cha-chá, bolero & more, their music is deeply rooted in tradition while alive with modern energy.

Luison Capote was born in Cuba & has shared his musical talent internationally for over 32 years primarily in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, England & New York. He is recognised as one of Norway’s leading Cuban musicians, known for his voice, masterful percussion & his charisma. Inspired by the music from Buena Vista Social Club, the band takes audiences on a musical journey to Cuba — a Caribbean night where rhythm, melody & groove come together. The beats of the congas, Luison’s distinctive voice, & the interplay of piano, bass & percussion create a musical conversation that bridges past & present, tradition & hot dance-floor rhythms.
