Kristian Fletcher brings back Brisbane's official JOHN WATERS MOVIE FEST for a second big year!

New Globe Theatre, 220 Brunswick St Fortitude Valley
Screening in an underground retro cinema, perfect for such an event!

WEDNESDAY 19 APRIL 2017 from 6.30pm
TICKETS $15 + booking fee

The fest launches with the Queensland premiere of the newly-restored Multiple Maniacs (1970)
Before Pink Flamingos rocked the midnight circuit in 1972, John Waters brought New Line Cinema his print of a black 'n' white film he had made 2 years earlier.
Considered a rarity, the film has been remastered and looks better than ever.
The Cavalcade of Perversion is a travelling show put on by a troupe of misfits whose shocking proclivities are topped only by those of their leader: the glammer-than-glam, larger-than-life Divine, who’s out for blood after discovering her lover’s affair.
Also starring Edith Massey (The Egg Lady), Mink Stole and the usual assortment of Dreamlanders.

SUNDAY 23 APRIL 2017
TICKETS $18 + booking fee
(includes entry to both movies)
