Maggie Britton is an international recording artist and songwriter who began performing regularly on Brian Henderson’s Bandstand and has performed with The Bee Gees, Robin Gibb, Peter Sellers, Kenny Rogers, Glen Campbell, Mama’s and Papa’s, The Temptations and the Three Degrees.

Among the highlights of Maggie Britton's many international appearances is a Royal Command Performance at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in London before members of the Royal family. Recently Maggie and her band of exceptional friends have appeared at the B Flat Jazz Club and the Intercontinental Ballroom in Tokyo, Crown Casino Ballroom Perth, The Ellington Jazz Club Perth, Jazz Fremantle, Jupiters Casino Gold Coast, GPAC Theatre, Foundry 616 Sydney also Brisbane Jazz Club, Toowoomba Jazz Club, Gold Coast City Jazz Club, The Sunshine Coast Jazz Club, The Paris Cat Melbourne and corporate shows


Col Atkinson MD, Arranger, Bass player and vocalist, Col brings that subtle depth with his Bass playing and his Latin Jazz Standard vocals makes any band complete.

Willy Qua, both a past and present member of Australia’s very own Galapagos Duck, is arguably one of the best saxophonists Australia has ever produced. He is best known as the co-founder of the iconic Australian Band, The Galapagos Duck.


Will Sargisson, is also a present member of Galapagos Duck. He has performed at many jazz festivals, including the “Piano Night” concert at Tipitina’s in New Orleans, where he alone received a standing ovation


The ‘Maggie Britton Quintet’ performance includes new arrangements of music from the ‘Great American Song Book’ as well as Latin Jazz and original tunes. The group’s recent single ‘Indigo Eyes’from the album ‘Live at Lovestreet’ is receiving both national and international airplay. This track and other original jazz tunes written by Maggie and arranged by Col Atkinson complement Jazz standards. The Maggie Britton Quintet features Galapagos Duck musicians Willie Qua (saxophone/flute). Wil Sargisson (keyboard) Col Atkinson MD ( bassist/vocalist) and drummer Richard Goldner.

Touring with their new album release, 'Live at Lovestreet', they will be performing at "The Jazz Sessions" held at The Bison Bar, Nambour on Sunday 29th January, 2017.
