En Plein Air, the French phrase meaning ‘open (in full) air’, is about the practise of producing artworks outdoors, in direct engagement with nature, where the effects of natural light is observed and recorded.

Artists are invited to bring their own materials and experience the joy of ‘en plein air’, the practise of painting out doors , in direct engagement with nature, where the transitory effects of light can be observed and recorded.

Participating venues  Estate Tuscany, Mistletoe Wines or Misty Glen Wines. Bring your easel and create your masterpiece! Artworks produced over the nominated days may go on exhibition at Mistletoe’s Pokolbin Fine Art Gallery.
All welcome, accommodation available at various venues Around Hermitage.

Competition:
$1500 prize money sponsored by Mistletoe Wines for the Artwork that best ‘Captures the beauty of the Hunter’.
