This is a two part short course focusing on Adobe  Photoshop and Illustrator .  Single sessions may be taken if preferred  (note timings for specific sessions below)

Wednesday 26 April 9.30am-12.30pm- Introduction to PhotoShop

Wednesday 26 April 1.00- 4.00pm- Introduction to Illustrator

• Importing and formatting graphics between programs
• Working with Pixels and Vectors
• Grids, Layouts and using basic layout tools
• Creating Shapes with tools
• Soft and Hard Selections
• Editing Shapes
• Colour correction
• Integrating hand-drawn lines and textures with digital elements
• Preparing artwork for print

Certificates of participation will be provided to attendees.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of the course by The Academy of Design

A full refund will apply in this instance.

Cancellation by the participant

A $20 administration fee applies to cancellations.Fees are fully refundable (less administration fee) for cancellations 5 working days in advance of the event. For cancellation within 5 working days, fees are non refundable. 

In the event of extenuating circumstances participants may apply in writing, attaching a medical certificate in the case of illness. Each case will be considered individually. A $20 administration fee may still apply.

Change of timing or venue of course
The Academy reserves the right to change the date or venue of a course. A full refund will apply if any such change is unsuitable to the participant.
