Khayal Trio features three friends from different musical backgrounds taking to the stage to create a collaboration of beautiful music through their traditions of Flamenco,Hindustani and Jazz with a genuine love and respect for all three genres they explore, intertwine and play with rhythm and melody to merge their individual voices into a unique soulful sound.Feat Damien Wright Sarah Hyland and Bobby Singh.

Following this recital the second half will feature Hindustani Vocalist Sayak Bhattacharya who will perform Khayal from the Classical repertoire of North India.

Sayak was introduced at an early age into North Indian Classical Music by his mother Smt. Rina Bhattacharya. Sayak has spent large parts of the past decade in India learning in the guru-shishya tradition from illustrious Gurus Ustad Rashid Khan, of the Rampur-Sahaswan Gharana, and more recently Pandit Vijay Kichlu, one of the old masters of the Agra Gharana.

A budding talent in the world of North Indian Classical Music, Sayak has performed at a number of prestigious conferences in solo recitals in the USA, India, including recitals in Kolkata, Jaipur and Pondicherry, and in Australia.
