The DEAI warmly welcomes Dr Fiona Rillotta and June Alexander from Flinders University Disability and Community Inclusion who will present their research, findings and recommendations on “What do Developmental Educators really do? An analysis of career outcomes and contribution to the lives of people with disabilities in Australia”?
After this presentation from 6.30-7.30pm Fiona and June will run a focus group and discussion on this topic to advance their research, until 8.30pm. You are invited to stay on to participate in this focus group but are not obliged to stay.
The DEAI strongly supports this research as a way forward for the profession and looks forward to learning about the many ideas which may be generated by the focus group.
