Presenter: Adam Page
Here's your chance to work with critically acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and composer Adam Page! Adam will take you through concepts and exercises to entice and encourage creativity in the classroom. With a strong focus on artistic spontaneity using traditional methods and new technologies, this workshop will help teachers inspire students to be more creative, work in a group situation and have fun at the same time.
This Forum includes content from The World According to James Live Performance Plus classroom activities.
Adam Page is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, music educator and record producer based in Adelaide. Known widely for his critically acclaimed solo multi-instrumental looping performances, Adam’s festival appearances include Glastonbury (UK), WOMADelaide, Big Day Out, Edinburgh Fringe, Sydney International Arts Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Fringe and the Melbourne International Jazz Festival. Adam has a strong focus on artistic spontaneity using traditional methods and new technologies. He has toured wide and far for Musica Viva In Schools throughout South Australia, sharing his infectious joy for music with students, and showing how music can be an essential and accessible experience for everyone.
